Native of Chicago, IL and now Denver, CO, is creative and dedicated Visual Arts teacher committed to creating meaningful and stimulating art programs to promote diversity, appreciation of difficult cultures, and self-awareness, and provides an extensive teaching experience in a wide range of visual media: skilled in designing art programs to compliment core courses, able to inspire children to see their potential and exceed their expectations, provides extensive leadership experience in school, volunteers, motivational speaker, and participates in community activities. Is also capable of being a visiting art teacher applying Fine Art skills such as oil painting, sculpture, line drawing, texture painting, murals, advertising, innovation, and entrepreneurship

She just wrapped her latest portfolio shoot for the College of DuPage’s Black History Month exhibit while preparing a Women’s History Month fundraiser honoring legends Bessie Coleman & Amelia Earhart — in fashion. 💃🏽✈️

Founder of the Take Flight – Aviation Leadership & Bessie Coleman Fly Girls & Boys programs, Jacqueline has empowered over 100+ minority youth with aviation scholarships and life-changing leadership tools — all free of charge. 💼🎓

From unveiling permanent Bessie Coleman exhibits at Denver International Airport to organizing the first-ever flyover in Coleman’s honor — Jacqueline Withers is making Black aviation history visible, vibrant, and lasting.

Even after overcoming a brain hemorrhage and rare cancer, she stands strong — a living tribute to resilience, legacy, and the power of flight. 🕊️
